Limited Add-On Report

This report shows the dates and availability of add-ons within a certain date range. For example, this could be used to see how many electric hookups are available and how many are booked out for any given day.

Think of the Limited Add-On as a finite resource!

Routine Add-On Report

This report allows you to see all bookings where add-ons have been assigned within a certain date range.

Please note that from August 2017, as a default, all add-ons are automatically ticked so that they are also displayed in the housekeeping report.

Creating a drop-down Add-on

This article will guide you through the process of creating a drop-down add-on. A drop-down add-on is very flexible and can be used for a variety of purposes. For example, if you have a housekeeping service a drop-down add-on could be used to indicate whether a customer would prefer a mid week, or end of stay house cleaning visit.

Add-Ons

We offer the facility for you to upsell extras on top of the base cost of a booking, such as hampers, a charge for dogs, electrical hook-ups and fire-pit rental. We call them Add-ons and you are able to create as many as you like.

You can also use the Add-on functionality as a fact-finding exercise on the booking process, not necessarily for a chargeable ‘thing’, such as asking your customer “What accommodation type are you bringing?” and giving them a free field to provide the answer, “Tent, caravan, motorhome, trailer tent, etc”.

My Add-ons are not appearing

Does your add-on have a date range and a rate applied to it?

The most common reason for an Add-on not displaying is that you haven’t set up a date and price for it. Each Add-on must have a date range to know when it should display. You can add a rate and date from the Add-on screen by double clicking on your chosen Add-on and inputting a date and price against it in the relevant tabs.

If you would like to hide a zero cost from showing then check the “visible but hide cost” option on the Add-on set-up page.

Are your add-ons applied to the correct units?

Another reason could be that you have only set the Add-on to display on one unit type. Open the Add-on by double clicking on it and select the relevant units on the units tab.
