Mobile Responsive Booking Form

In the Autumn of 2015, we launched Version 4 of the customer-facing booking form, improving its layout and making it responsive to help customers book holidays on different size devices.

Depending on whether your customer is using a desktop, laptop, small tablet or smart phone, the booking form will resize to give the customer the best possible experience in making an online booking – and a good experience means repeat business!

Desktop and Tablet Landscape Layout

The booking form will look very much the same for the desktop and tablet screen sizes. The booking form itself sits comfortably from 768 pixels upwards for all tablet and desktop sized screens.

Once the screen size drops below 768 pixels in width, the form repositions slightly. If you have a responsive website, you header will move to a stacked navigation bar. This is where you notice those three lines to pull down a menu option to navigate away from the booking form.

Mobile Size

Anything that drops below 320 pixels in width is seen as a mobile device. The smallest size has any custom header removed in favour of a simple form. This helps the customer to move through the booking form without distraction.  The company telephone number is positioned in the top left hand corner, with the logo and link back to the company website just underneath. The booking form steps are located on the top right hand corner.

If you’ve chosen to have a customised header and footer, we adapt the mobile version colours to blend in with your company’s theme instead of your original header and footer design.
