Adding an IP Address to SagePay

A guide to adding your address IP to your SagePay “My SagePay” account

 

If you use SagePay as your Payment Gateway Provider, the IP address of the server that is hosting AnytimeBooking is used to validate the origin of the transactions being passed through to SagePay.

Without specifying the IP of Anytime’s servers you and your customers will receive this error message after trying to make a payment:

Adding our IPs to your My SagePay account.

  1. Navigate to https://live.sagepay.com/mysagepay/login.msp
  2. You will need to login to an account that has access to the Admin settings shown here in user configuration (the administrator will have full access rights):

  3. Navigate to Settings and click on Valid IPs.SagePay settings
  4. Add one of the IPs that we have provided to you as follows (the subnet mask is entered as 255.255.255.000):Add an IP address to SagepPay
  5. Repeat this procedure for each IP that we have provided you with and then log out.
  6. Run through your booking process with a test booking and ensure you are directed to SagePay without errors.

Website Integration Guide for Developers

This help guide provides useful information about integrating Anytime Booking with a website and is aimed at the website developer, with some basic technical guidance. Depending on the CMS the website is based around, the web developer will need to interpret this guide and make adaptations. The Anytime Booking account holder will be able to use this guide to make an informed decision about which search and/or availability calendars they wish to use on their website.

With regard to Widgets, please note that if the Anytime Booking account holder is using a self-build website, such as Wixx, Vistaprint, Mr.Site, 1and1 or Webs.com, the javascript used in these websites can interfere with the code in the widgets, stopping them from working.

In these cases we would normally advise account holders in this situation to use a ‘Book Now’ button to take your customers to your booking page.

Please note that we can provide you with any number of single unit availability calendars and EITHER one multi-unit availability calendar OR one search widget (horizontal or vertical) free of charge but the production of additional widgets is chargeable.
